A successful model portfolio should demonstrate versatility while still presenting an authentic and consistent representation of you. Depending on the type of modeling work you’re pursuing, agencies and casting professionals may want to see a clean headshot or beauty portrait, a full-length image showing your proportions, an approachable commercial or lifestyle look, a natural smiling photograph, and a more expressive fashion or editorial image.

Swimwear, fitness and other specialized looks may also be appropriate when they support your modeling goals, when you are comfortable including them, or when they have been specifically requested by an agency. You do not necessarily need every type of photograph in your portfolio, and individual agency requirements can vary.

Before your model portfolio photography session, we’ll discuss the market you want to pursue and plan the wardrobe, lighting, backgrounds, posing and expressions needed to create a cohesive but versatile collection of images. The examples below illustrate several of the different looks we can create at our Sarasota photography studio or on location.

Which Photo Session Is Right for You?

Model Headshot Session — $299 Plus Sales Tax

Our Model Headshot Session is designed for clients who need a clean, professional headshot for agency submissions, casting profiles, social media or other promotional uses. Your session includes expression and posing coaching, wardrobe guidance and one fully retouched digital image.

We’ll work with you to create a headshot that reflects the type of modeling or casting opportunities you’re pursuing while still looking natural and authentically like you. Additional fully retouched images may be purchased for $85 each and discounted image packages are also available.

Image Selection and Retouching

After either session, you’ll receive a private online proof gallery from which you can select your included images. Unedited proofs are provided for selection purposes only and are not included in the final delivery. Each selected image will be professionally retouched before delivery.

Professional hair and makeup services may also be arranged at our Sarasota studio. We’re happy to recommend experienced hair and makeup artists who can remain on hand throughout your photo shoot to make any necessary adjustments.

Model Portfolio & Portrait Session — $399 Plus Sales Tax

Our Model Portfolio Session is designed for aspiring or experienced models who want to build a new portfolio or add greater variety to an existing one. Your session includes three fully retouched digital images, professional posing and expression coaching, wardrobe guidance and multiple carefully planned looks as time allows.

Depending on your goals, we can create a versatile selection of clean headshots, beauty portraits, three-quarter-length images, full-length photographs, commercial or lifestyle looks, and more dramatic fashion or editorial images. We’ll discuss your goals before the session and plan the wardrobe, lighting, backgrounds and overall creative direction accordingly.

Additional fully retouched images may be purchased for $85 each, and discounted image packages are also available.

Following your session, you’ll receive a private online proof gallery from which to select your three included images and any additional images you wish to purchase. The unedited proofs are displayed solely for image selection and are not available for download or delivery. Only your selected images will be professionally retouched and delivered as high-resolution digital files.
