One of the things I enjoy most as a Sarasota photographer is creating portrait sessions that feel authentic and personal. This recent sunrise beach session at Nokomis Beach was a perfect example.

From 7:00 to 9:00 AM, I photographed Marianna Igorevna Corazza and her dog Phoebe along Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast using natural light and a Canon EOS R5 with an RF 24-105mm lens. The goal wasn't simply to create beautiful portraits—it was to capture a lifestyle.

Originally influenced by years in New York City's beauty industry, Marianna now embraces Florida's coastal lifestyle, spending time paddleboarding, exploring natural springs, enjoying the Gulf beaches, and creating content centered around wellness, adventure, and authentic connection.

A highlight of the session was Phoebe, Marianna's athletic Golden Lab and therapy dog in training. Their bond added a genuine emotional connection throughout the morning and helped create some of my favorite images from the shoot.

As the sun rose over Nokomis Beach, we captured a mix of lifestyle portraits, paddleboard images, beach photography, and natural candid moments. The calm Gulf waters, soft sunrise light, and relaxed atmosphere created the perfect setting for photographs that feel both timeless and personal.
